Origin and universe of the franchise

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End begins after a group of heroes has defeated the Demon King. The story follows Frieren, an elven mage whose exceptional longevity gives her a very different perception of time from that of her human companions.

Following the death of Himmel, one of the members of her former group, Frieren realises that she never really sought to understand the people with whom she had travelled. She therefore embarks on a new journey to get to know humans better and to retrace the steps of her past adventure.

Accompanied in particular by Fern and Stark, she travels through various regions, battles demons and gradually rediscovers memories linked to Himmel, Heiter and Eisen.
