Character background and lore

Elsa is the Queen of Arendelle and has possessed the power to create and control snow and ice since childhood. After accidentally injuring her sister Anna, she grew up hiding her abilities and suppressing her emotions for fear of harming those she loves.

At her coronation, her powers are revealed to the public. Elsa then flees the kingdom and takes refuge in the mountains, where she builds a vast ice palace.
