Add one of the powerful robots from Gaiking: Legend of Daiku-Maryu to your collection with this 13 cm MODEROID Raiking model kit. Produced by Good Smile Company, this plastic model kit faithfully reproduces the mecha’s appearance from the anime series, featuring an articulated structure and several display options.

Once assembled, Raiking officially measures approximately 13.5 cm / 135 mm. Its various joints allow you to create dynamic poses, perfect for battle scenes or for display alongside the other robots from the series. The blue, red, white, black and gold colour scheme is achieved using coloured sprues, pre-painted parts and stickers.

The kit includes the large Skull Scythe, interchangeable hands and a special display stand. The Counter Crosses fitted to the arms can be removed, whilst interchangeable parts for the upper section allow you to recreate the Raiking Part 1 configuration.

Raiking can also be combined with the Gaiking and Balking kits, sold separately, to form Gaiking the Great and recreate its combination sequence. This compatibility makes it an essential item for collectors wishing to assemble all three MODEROID models in the series.

Origin and background of the model

Gaiking: Legend of Daiku-Maryu is a super robot anime series produced by Toei Animation. It offers a fresh take on the Daiku Maryu Gaiking universe, with a new story and characters, whilst retaining several mechanical concepts from the original series.

Raiking is one of the main robots in this universe. Its design is characterised by armour in cool colours, an aggressive appearance and a large, skull-shaped scythe. The kit allows you to recreate this visual identity as well as certain transformations and configurations seen in the anime.

Alongside Gaiking and Balking, Raiking forms part of Gaiking the Great, a more powerful combined robot. Good Smile Company has designed the three separate kits with compatible parts to enable the reproduction of this combination and its transformation sequence.
