- Ghost in the Shell resin statue, 1/4 scale, measures approx.27cm by Bandai.Resin statue from the popular animated film "Ghost in the Shell" by Motoko Kusanagi. The statue is based on the main visual illustration of the film, and the production of the statue was supervised by the film's animation supervisor Hiroyuki Okiura and designer Kumiko Yusa.Based on the manga "The Ghost in the Shell" by SHIROW MASAMUNE where the story takes place in 2029 in a dystopian cyberpunk world, the series has gone on to become a media franchise consisting of four animated films, three animated series, video games and most recently the Scarlett Johansson adaptation.The contrast between the soft, skin-like appearance of her artificial body and the exposed internal structures on her back and other areas are beautifully represented. The use of various materials on the statue makes it a high quality product that could be described as a work of art.
