Origin and backstory

Formed in 2006, the Swedish theatrical heavy metal band Ghost has captivated the music industry with its satirical, ecclesiastical and mysterious universe. Led by Tobias Forge, the band changes its figurehead with each album cycle, featuring successive incarnations of satanic pontiffs known as Papa Emeritus. Cardinal Copia, having proven himself, was officially crowned as Papa Emeritus IV during the era of the album *Imperia*. This exclusive figurine captures his iconic and flamboyant stage appearance, depicting him clad in his elegant blue tuxedo adorned with sparkling sequins (‘Glitter’). Holding his microphone in his hand and sporting his characteristic cadaverous face paint, this piece captures the baroque essence, showmanship and occult aesthetic of this essential band on the modern rock scene.
