Boost the ranks of the Mad Marauders with this G.I. Joe Classified Series set featuring Footloose, Mutt and his dog Junkyard. Designed by Hasbro, this set brings the three members of the special unit to life in a modern 15 cm format, featuring detailed sculpts, numerous points of articulation and a wide range of tactical equipment.

Footloose and Mutt wear the Mad Marauders’ signature colours, with uniforms combining blue, green and brown camouflage. Footloose is kitted out for infantry missions, whilst Mutt wears an outfit suited to his role as a military dog handler. Junkyard completes the group with an articulated body and two interchangeable facial expressions, allowing him to be displayed either calm or ready to attack.

The two human figures feature numerous points of articulation to recreate combat, patrol or training poses. Their 15 cm scale is compatible with the other characters and vehicles in the G.I. Joe Classified Series collection. The set is presented in a collectable window box featuring an original illustration of the characters.

The set includes a wide range of accessories. Footloose comes with a helmet, a knife, a rocket launcher with a projectile, a rucksack and several weapons. Mutt comes with six interchangeable hands, some of which depict training gestures, as well as a truncheon, a knife, a helmet, two pairs of glasses, a mask and several weapons. Junkyard has two interchangeable heads: one with a ‘good dog’ expression and one showing the dog growling.

With its two soldiers, dog and multiple display options, this set is a complete piece to enhance a Mad Marauders unit or stage clashes against Cobra forces.

Origin and character background (Lore)

Footloose, whose real name is Andrew D. Meyers, is an infantryman in the G.I. Joe team. Behind his sometimes laid-back demeanour lies an experienced soldier, specialising in ground operations and skilled in the use of a wide range of infantry weapons.

He is also a member of the Mad Marauders, an assault unit led by Sergeant Slaughter. This team wears highly distinctive camouflage uniforms and carries out missions requiring firepower, mobility and coordination in hostile terrain.

Mutt, whose real name is Stanley R. Perlmutter, is the G.I. Joe team’s dog handler. A specialist in dog training and infantry operations, he often seems more at ease with animals than with humans. His gruff demeanour contrasts with the extremely strong bond he shares with Junkyard.

Junkyard is Mutt’s military dog and his permanent partner in the field. Intelligent, loyal and perfectly trained, he can follow a trail, detect a threat, immobilise an opponent or protect his master. The two characters function as a true team, each anticipating the other’s reactions.

The Mad Marauders are tasked with fighting Cobra, an international criminal organisation seeking to impose its dominance through force, technology and manipulation. Under the command of Sergeant Slaughter, Footloose, Mutt and Junkyard join forces with Spirit, Low-Light and Barbecue, amongst others, within this specialist unit.

The Classified Series modernises these iconic characters from G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, retaining their distinctive roles and colour schemes whilst adding articulation, equipment and details suited to contemporary collections.
