Captain Gorman is an elite member of the royal guard of the great King Vega. Characterised by great arrogance, he is sent to the moon base to temporarily replace Minos (Gandal) and Hydargos (Blaki), whom he deems incompetent. At the controls of his powerful Golgoth (or monstrogoth) named Gin Gin, Gorman proves to be a formidable pilot and fighter. He manages to put Actarus and Goldorak to the sword in a fierce duel. His final defeat was not Actarus's alone, but the result of an internal betrayal: Hydargos, consumed by jealousy and the fear of being supplanted, ordered his own forces to shoot Gin Gin in the back, causing Gorman's demise.
