Origin and background of the licence (Lore)

Goldorak, known in Japan as UFO Robot Grendizer, is an animated series created by Go Nagai and first broadcast in 1975. It became particularly famous in France and Belgium in the late 1970s, where it left a lasting mark on an entire generation.

The story follows Actarus, prince of the planet Euphor, who takes refuge on Earth after his world is destroyed by the forces of Vega. To protect his new planet, he pilots Goldorak, an extremely powerful giant robot capable of fighting both on the ground and in the air.

The series blends science fiction, robot battles, drama and adventure, featuring a stark conflict between Earth and the invaders from the Vega Empire.
