GUNDAM SEED - Heliopolis Battle Stage - Realistic Model Series 20-25cm

Recreate the opening battles of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED with the Heliopolis Battle Stage GS06M, a diorama from the Realistic Model Series G-Structure range designed by MegaHouse to complement 1/144-scale HG Gunpla kits. This Material Colour Edition reproduces a damaged urban area of the Heliopolis space colony, featuring destroyed buildings, scenery elements and structures that allow various Mobile Suits to be incorporated into the scene.

Unlike a traditional figurine, the GS06M is a semi-assembled, unpainted kit, with the main parts moulded directly in different colours. It can therefore be displayed after assembly without the need for painting, whilst still allowing modellers the option to add paint and weathering. Water-soluble decals are provided to enhance the level of detail.

Several buildings and the dedicated support arm use standard 3 mm connectors, allowing the display to be rearranged according to the available space or the Gunpla on display. The display stand measures approximately 17.5 × 24 × 17 cm, whilst the supplied anchor element stands approximately 23 cm tall. The Gunpla shown in the promotional photographs are sold separately.

Origin and setting of the diorama (Lore)

Heliopolis is a space colony belonging to the Orb Union, which is officially neutral at the start of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. It is also where Kira Yamato lives when the conflict between the Earth Alliance and ZAFT abruptly disrupts his daily life. In secret, Morgenroete and the Earth Alliance are developing several prototypes of Mobile Suits from the GAT-X series there.

When ZAFT discovers the existence of these machines, its forces attack the colony and manage to seize four of the five Gundams. The GAT-X105 Strike Gundam remains in the Alliance’s possession, and Kira finds himself aboard it during the assault. The GS06M diorama is notably inspired by the destroyed area seen during the confrontation with a ZGMF-1017 GINN in the second episode.

The Heliopolis Battle Stage deliberately includes no Mobile Suits: it serves as a 1/144-scale display base, allowing the Strike Gundam, GINN or other HG kits to be displayed within a setting directly inspired by the opening scenes of Gundam SEED. The Material Colour Edition version reimagines the original GS06 diorama in a format more geared towards assembly and customisation.
