Origin and background of the character
The character of Harry Potter originates from the famous British literary series written by J.K. Rowling, adapted for the cinema by Warner Bros. Pictures in 2001 with the blockbuster film *Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone*. The plot follows the story of a young orphan who, on his 11th birthday, discovers that he possesses magical powers and is expected to attend a prestigious school of witchcraft and wizardry. This figurine captures precisely the key moment of his first day at school at King’s Cross station in London. Guided by the Weasley family, Harry must run and push his trolley, laden with his suitcases and the cage containing his owl Hedwig, through the brick wall separating platforms 9 and 10. This courageous act allows him to reach the legendary Platform 9¾ and board the Hogwarts Express. Its detailed graphic style highlights the young wizard’s innocence and sense of wonder, set to bring a touch of nostalgia and magic to collectors’ shelves.
