Seamus Finnigan is a half-blood wizard, born to a witch mother and a Muggle father. A pupil at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he was sorted into Gryffindor House in the same year as Harry Potter and became the best friend and dormitory mate of Dean Thomas. Although his attempts at casting spells regularly result in small accidental explosions during his school years, he joins the ranks of Dumbledore’s Army to perfect his training in defensive magic. Loyal to his house, he became actively involved in the resistance against the Death Eaters and took part in the fighting during the Battle of Hogwarts.
