Viktor Krum is a Bulgarian wizard who attended Durmstrang Institute of Magic. An exceptional player, he gained international fame as the Seeker for the Bulgarian national Quidditch team. In 1994, he distinguished himself in the Quidditch World Cup final against Ireland by performing a memorable Wronski feint and catching the Golden Snitch. That same year, he was selected as one of the four champions for the prestigious Triwizard Tournament held at Hogwarts, representing his school against Harry Potter, Cedric Diggory and Fleur Delacour. His original wand was made by the wandmaker Gregorovitch from charm wood with a dragon heartstring core.
