Miku is depicted in an energetic pose, with one leg bent and her arm raised, as if in the middle of a cheerleading routine. Her smiling expression and long turquoise hair flowing around her enhance the sense of movement and the sculpture’s cheerful character.

Her cheerleader outfit combines white, pink and blue. The cropped top bears the inscription ‘MIKU MIKU’, whilst the pleated skirt, contrasting trim and star-shaped motifs lend a sporty and colourful aesthetic. Two yellow pom-poms decorated with stars complete the composition.

The hairstyle recreates Hatsune Miku’s famous pigtails in a particularly dynamic interpretation. Hatsune Miku is a virtual singer developed by Crypton Future Media using voice synthesis software. Her visual identity, recognisable by her long turquoise pigtails and futuristic outfit, has featured in the musical and graphic creations of numerous artists since her launch.
