Nekomata Okayu is a virtual YouTuber representing the Japanese agency Hololive Production (Cover Corp.), having started her career in 2019 as part of the Hololive Gamers sub-group. Her virtual character takes the form of a nekomata, a feline creature from Japanese folklore, which gives her her distinctive appearance with her purple cat ears and tail. Known for her deep, soothing voice, her laid-back sense of humour and her love of video games, she is one of the most popular VTubers on the global scene.

Her iconic friendship with Inugami Korone, another member of Hololive Gamers, makes them one of the agency’s most beloved duos.
