Character’s origin and universe

Hunter x Hunter is a manga by Yoshihiro Togashi that has been adapted into an anime, following characters aspiring to become Hunters – elite adventurers capable of exploring uncharted territories, searching for treasure, tracking down criminals or studying rare creatures.

Killua Zoldyck is one of the series’ main characters. Born into the famous Zoldyck family of assassins, he was trained from childhood to become a professional killer. Despite this dark past, he chooses to turn his back on his family’s destiny and develops a deep friendship with Gon Freecss.

Fast, intelligent and possessing remarkable composure, Killua gradually evolves into a character in search of freedom. His electricity-based Nen, his fighting instinct and his bond with Gon make him one of the most memorable heroes in Hunter x Hunter.
