The horror icon returns to Crystal Lake with this Ultimate Jason Voorhees figure, designed by NECA based on his appearance in the official short film *Jason Universe: Sweet Revenge*. This new take on the famous masked killer features detailed sculpting, full articulation and a range of accessories directly inspired by his most brutal scenes.

Jason is depicted in a dark, tattered outfit covered in signs of wear and tear, befitting his modern return to live-action. The sculpt captures his imposing silhouette, his reimagined hockey mask and the various details of his costume, whilst the painted finishes enhance his menacing appearance.

Measuring approximately 17 to 18 cm in height, the figure is in the 7-inch scale characteristic of NECA’s Ultimate range. Its numerous points of articulation allow you to recreate walking, attacking or observing poses, with or without the included weapons.

The accessories include Jason’s iconic machete, a bloodstained kitchen knife and an apple corer. An imposing boat engine decorated with bloody remains completes the set of accessories and allows you to recreate one of the most iconic kills from the short film. An interchangeable right hand is also included to vary the way Jason holds his weapons.

The figure is presented in an illustrated window box designed for collectors. This packaging allows Jason to be displayed without completely removing the figure from its packaging, whilst providing access to the various accessories to create scenes inspired by *Sweet Revenge*.

Character background and lore

Jason Voorhees is the main antagonist of the Friday the 13th series. His story is closely linked to Crystal Lake Camp, where he is said to have drowned as a child after being left unsupervised by the camp counsellors.

His mother, Pamela Voorhees, holds the camp staff responsible for his death and, several years later, sets out to prevent Crystal Lake from reopening. Jason subsequently emerges as a threat in his own right and gradually becomes a killer who is almost impossible to stop.

Recognisable by his tall stature and his hockey mask, Jason favours weapons and tools he finds in his surroundings. The machete remains his most iconic weapon, but the various films and productions also show him using knives, axes, farming tools and various improvised objects.

The short film *Sweet Revenge*, written and directed by Mike P. Nelson, marks Jason’s first official new live-action appearance since the 2009 film. Originally released in 2025 as part of the Jason Universe, this story brings the character back to the woods of Crystal Lake to face a new group of victims.

This version of Jason features an updated design developed in collaboration with make-up and special effects specialist Greg Nicotero. His mask, clothing and silhouette retain the character’s iconic elements whilst adopting a distinct appearance from previous cinematic versions.

The figure’s selection of accessories directly reflects the methods used by Jason in *Sweet Revenge*. In particular, the blood-soaked boat engine is a feature specific to this new incarnation and helps to distinguish this edition from other Ultimate figures inspired by the classic films in the series.
