Their fate takes a tragic turn following the failed escort mission involving Riko Amanai, the vessel of Stellar Plasma, and in the face of the cruelty of the human world. This tragedy shatters their bond and drives Geto to sink into nihilism, becoming the worst of the Masters of Calamity.
