Kirara Hoshi is a sixth-form student at the Tokyo Exorcism School and Kinji Hakari’s closest ally. Like Kinji, Kirara has distanced himself from the school’s authority due to deep ideological differences with its conservative senior leadership. Together, they oversee the organisation of betting and underground exorcist fights known as the Gachinko Fight Club, before being caught up in theCulling Game by Megumi Fushiguro and Yuji Itadori.

Kirara possesses a particularly complex and strategic innate spell based on astronomy, called Love Rendezvous. This cursed technique marks targets and objects with the constellations of the Southern Cross. In order to approach one another or reach Kirara, opponents must follow a strict sequence of movement dictated by the distance between the stars; otherwise, they risk being violently repelled or blocked by an uncontrollable magnetic force of attraction. Behind her flirtatious façade, therefore, lies a formidable tactician capable of paralysing elite fighters.
