Immerse yourself in the world of Jurassic Park with this ‘Dino Japan’ hoodie, designed by Cotton Division under official licence. This black design combines the classic hoodie silhouette with a graphic interpretation featuring Japanese influences, centred on one of the franchise’s most iconic dinosaurs.
On the chest, the garment features a small red and black circular emblem depicting the famous T. rex skeleton from Jurassic Park, accompanied by the licence name in Japanese characters. The back features a much more imposing design in shades of red, black and white, dominated by the head of a roaring Tyrannosaurus. The design is complemented by various secondary illustrations and the Japanese inscription ジュラシック・パーク, corresponding to the title ‘Jurassic Park’.
The hoodie features a classic design with a drawstring hood and a kangaroo pocket at the front. The combination of black fabric, red print and Japanese typography gives the design a particularly distinctive visual identity, aimed at both fans of pop culture clothing and collectors of Jurassic Park merchandise.

Origin and backstory (Lore)
Released in 1993, Jurassic Park is a film directed by Steven Spielberg, adapted from the novel by Michael Crichton. The story is set on a remote island where a revolutionary theme park has been created through the genetic resurrection of dinosaurs. When the security systems fail, visitors find themselves face to face with the prehistoric creatures that are now roaming freely throughout the park.
The Tyrannosaurus rex plays a central role in the franchise’s visual identity. Its skeletal silhouette features at the heart of the Jurassic Park logo, whilst the living T. rex is the focus of several of the first film’s most famous scenes. Universal continues to highlight this dinosaur as one of the key figures in the Jurassic Park universe.
The ‘Dino Japan’ design draws on this iconic imagery, combining it with Japanese typography and a red and black colour palette. The result translates the film’s aesthetic into a more contemporary textile design, whilst retaining the T. rex as the licence’s immediately recognisable central element.
