Jurassic Park – ‘Welcome to Jurassic Park’ Statue, Demi Art Scale 1/20 – 80 cm
Relive one of the most iconic scenes in cinema history with this ‘Welcome to Jurassic Park’ statue, designed by Iron Studios. Part of the Demi Art Scale collection, this imposing 1/20 scale piece recreates the moment when Professor Alan Grant and Dr Ellie Sattler first discover a real Brachiosaurus on Isla Nublar.
The statue depicts the gigantic dinosaur raising its long neck above a richly detailed tropical landscape. At its feet, Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler and John Hammond gaze at the creature in wonder. The difference in scale between the human figures and the Brachiosaurus immediately highlights the animal’s impressive size.
The base recreates the lush vegetation of Isla Nublar, featuring rocks, plants and various natural elements that extend the scene. Each character strikes a pose directly inspired by the film, allowing you to relive the sense of wonder and discovery associated with this iconic sequence.
Crafted primarily from polystone and hand-painted, this special edition features exceptionally detailed sculpting. The Brachiosaurus’s skin, the folds of its body, the characters’ clothing and the various textures of the setting all benefit from a finish designed for display in a high-quality collection.
Measuring approximately 80 × 70 × 32 cm and weighing 13.5 kg, this statue makes for a particularly imposing centrepiece for a collection dedicated to Jurassic Park, dinosaurs or Steven Spielberg’s films.

Origin and background of the scene (Lore)
In Jurassic Park, billionaire John Hammond invites several specialists to Isla Nublar to assess the safety of his new theme park. Among them are the palaeontologist Alan Grant and the palaeobotanist Ellie Sattler, who are initially convinced that they are simply there to examine a park project still in development.
Upon their arrival, Hammond abruptly interrupts their journey to allow them to observe a live Brachiosaurus. Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler then discover that InGen’s scientists have succeeded in recreating dinosaurs using prehistoric DNA. As they marvel at the sight, Hammond delivers his famous welcome speech and reveals the existence of Jurassic Park.
The Brachiosaurus is a huge herbivorous dinosaur, recognisable by its long neck and its forelimbs, which are more developed than its hind legs. In the park, it roams freely amongst the vegetation and can stand upright to reach the leaves at the tops of the trees.
This sequence marks the first real encounter – not only for the characters but also for the audience – with a dinosaur that is fully visible in the film. It symbolises both John Hammond’s scientific achievement, the sense of wonder evoked by the park, and the ethical questions that will gradually arise as the limitations of this project are revealed.
