Origin and backstory of the characters (Lore)

In KPop Demon Hunters, Rumi, Mira and Zoey form HUNTR/X, a K-pop group capable of filling stadiums with their songs and choreography. Behind their careers as idols, however, lies a second mission: the three artists use their powers to protect their fans and the human world from supernatural threats.

Their music plays a vital role in their battle against demons. Together, they must face off against the Saja Boys, a rival group made up of demons disguised as seductive K-pop stars. The trio relies on the complementary strengths of its members, both on stage and in battle, making HUNTR/X the musical and heroic heart of the film.
