The art direction is spectacular, with breathtaking drawings: the settings are immersive, the characters magnificently illustrated, and every battle scene is packed with detail.
The series also plays on a broad emotional register, with some very powerful dark scenes contrasted with others that are particularly funny. It's a balancing act mastered to perfection by renowned scriptwriter Inwan Yoon and enhanced by Boichi's drawings.
