Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Peregrin Touque, known as Pippin, is a Hobbit from the Shire and one of the founding members of the Fellowship of the Ring, alongside his inseparable cousin Merry Brandebouc. Naturally clumsy, curious and carefree, he makes several memorable mistakes during his journey, such as inadvertently awakening the forces of Moria or looking into Saruman's Palantír. Faced with the threat of Sauron, Pippin shows a heroic evolution. Binding his fate to the kingdom of Gondor, he swore allegiance to Intendant Denethor II and joined the guard of the citadel of Minas Tirith. His quiet courage during the siege of the city proves that even the smallest creature can change the course of history.
