The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask is one of the most unique instalments in the Nintendo saga. Following the events of Ocarina of Time, Link finds himself in the parallel world of Termina, threatened by the imminent fall of the Moon. The game is based on a three-day cycle, which the hero must relive to unravel the world’s mysteries, help its inhabitants and prevent the catastrophe.

In this instalment, Link uses numerous masks with various powers. Some allow him to take on the appearance of the peoples of Termina, such as the Mojos, the Gorons or the Zoras, whilst others offer special abilities, such as the rabbit hood. Majora’s Mask, the cursed artefact at the heart of the plot, embodies the main threat and gives the game its strange, melancholic and eerie atmosphere.
