This letter opener is a faithful reproduction of Arwen's sword.
It measures 21 cm and comes in a glazed wooden box.Arwen is a character from J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. The daughter of Elrond the Half-Elf, she chose to abandon the immortality of the Elves to marry her beloved, the mortal Aragorn, thus becoming Queen of the Elves and Men of Middle-earth.
Arwen appears only briefly in the novel, mainly through allusions made by Aragorn. The story of their meeting and union is recounted in the appendices to the book, in the section "A fragment of the story of Aragorn and Arwen".
