Explore the depths of the Abyss alongside Nanachi with this articulated figure from the figma range. Standing approximately 11 cm tall, this non-articulated scale figure features the flexible joint system characteristic of the figma collection.

The sculpt captures Nanachi’s distinctive silhouette, with her long ears, light-coloured fur, voluminous tail and imposing headgear. The joints are integrated in such a way as to preserve the character’s rounded forms whilst allowing you to recreate exploration scenes, relaxed poses or more expressive moments inspired by the anime.

Three interchangeable face plates are included: a smiling expression, a blushing face and an expression of pure joy. These different face plates allow you to capture Nanachi’s playful nature as well as her embarrassment or enthusiasm when faced with a delicious meal.

The set also includes a small Mitty figurine, a fishing rod, a fried gankimasu and a spoon. Character background and lore

Nanachi is a Narehate, a former human whose body was transformed after being subjected to the Curse of the Sixth Stratum of the Abyss. Unlike most victims of this transformation, Nanachi has retained his intelligence, his memories and his ability to communicate. He now resembles a fur-covered creature with long ears and a bushy tail.

Before her transformation, Nanachi lived in poverty and dreamt of exploring the Abyss. Recruited by Bondrewd, Nanachi was taken, along with other children, to the Ido Front base. It was there that Nanachi met Mitty, with whom she quickly formed a deep bond.

Bondrewd uses the two children in an experiment designed to study the Curse of the Abyss. As they ascend from the sixth stratum, Mitty absorbs the bulk of the suffering and becomes an immortal creature who has lost her humanity, whilst Nanachi retains her mind and takes on an animal-like appearance. Nanachi then looks after Mitty in a secluded refuge.

The encounter with Riko and Reg marks a decisive turning point. Thanks to her knowledge of medicine, the creatures and phenomena unique to the Abyss, Nanachi becomes an indispensable ally to the group. The character is distinguished by her practical intelligence, her colloquial speech and her particularly keen sense of smell.

The accessories included with this figma evoke several aspects of her story. Mitty symbolises her painful past, whilst the fishing rod, spoon and fried fish evoke her daily life, her survival skills and her enthusiasm for food prepared with greater care than her own, sometimes dubious, recipes.
