MARSUPILAMI - Plush 32cm

This 32 cm plush represents the Marsupilami, the imaginary animal from the Franco-Belgian comic strip created by André Franquin. Designed by Barrado, this collector's item is made from soft synthetic fabric. The design closely respects the creature's graphic appearance, with its yellow coat spotted with black, large expressive eyes, long pointed ears and disproportionately long tail. The product comes individually packaged in a protective transparent plastic bag.

The Marsupilami is a fictional animal from the rainforest of Palombia, first appearing in 1952 in a Spirou and Fantasio adventure entitled "Spirou et les héritiers". Measuring around a metre in height when fully grown, it has a prehensile tail that can be up to eight metres long, which it uses in a multitude of ways: as a means of locomotion, as a spring for leaping, as a defensive weapon or even to fish for its favourite food, piragna. Recognisable by its characteristic cry of "Houba Houba", the Marsupilami is a creature of Herculean strength and great intelligence, living as a family in the heart of the jungle where it fiercely protects its nest and its young from predators and poachers.
