The figure faithfully captures the hero’s imposing stature, gamma-ray-irradiated musculature and iconic physical attributes, notably his famous long, bright green hair. It pays close attention to sartorial detail, recreating his classic comic book costume. In the Marvel universe, Dr Leonard Samson is a brilliant psychiatrist initially tasked with treating and studying Bruce Banner to free him from his curse. During a major experiment, he voluntarily exposes himself to a controlled dose of gamma radiation siphoned from the Hulk. The mutation radically transforms his body: he gains superhuman strength, colossal stamina and durability rivalling that of Earth’s mightiest giants, whilst his hair turns permanently green. Unlike Banner, Samson retains his full intellect, personality and composure after his transformation. Nicknamed the "Super Shrink", he uses both his muscles and his knowledge of psychology to guide and confront the world’s most powerful and unstable beings, constantly navigating between his roles as therapist and defender of justice.
