Standing approximately 15 cm tall, the figure features detailed metallic armour, the character’s distinctive mask and a long green cape. The various sculpted textures allow you to distinguish the armour plates, protective elements and clothing visible beneath Doom’s gear.

The head, arms and legs are articulated to allow for a variety of combat or commanding poses. This articulation enables Doctor Doom to be displayed standing with clenched fists or in a pose evoking the use of his powers and mystical knowledge.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Victor von Doom, better known as Doctor Doom, is one of the Fantastic Four’s main adversaries. He is distinguished by his exceptional scientific intellect, great mastery of technology and extensive knowledge of magic.

Originally from Latveria, a fictional European country, Victor grew up in difficult circumstances. His mother, Cynthia von Doom, practised witchcraft, whilst his father, Werner, tried to protect his family from the local authorities. The tragic events of his childhood fuelled his desire for power and his determination never to be dependent on anyone again.

Thanks to his intellectual abilities, Victor pursued a scientific education and met Reed Richards. A deep-seated rivalry developed between them, with Doom generally refusing to admit that Reed’s knowledge or advice could be of any use to him.

During an experiment designed to communicate with another dimension, Victor causes an explosion that leaves him with facial scars. Convinced that Reed Richards is responsible for this failure, he leaves the United States and embarks on a long journey during which he hones his technological and mystical knowledge.

He then forges a suit of armour and a metal mask before seizing control of Latveria. Having become the country’s ruler, Doom claims to be acting to protect his people, but governs in an authoritarian manner and believes that he alone is capable of bringing order to the world.

His armour grants him great resilience, enhanced strength and numerous offensive and defensive systems. Doom also uses robots known as Doombots, built in his image to represent him, fight in his stead or deceive his adversaries.

In the Marvel comics, his ambitions regularly extend beyond the borders of Latveria. He attempts to conquer the world, acquire cosmic powers or reshape reality, whilst facing off against the Fantastic Four, the Avengers and numerous other heroes.
