Character background and universe (Lore)

Gambit, whose real name is Remy LeBeau, is a mutant from New Orleans and one of the most popular members of the X-Men. Raised within the Thieves’ Guild, he built a reputation as a talented burglar before joining the team of mutants led by Professor Charles Xavier.

Gambit possesses the power to charge inanimate objects with kinetic energy, causing them to explode on impact. He mainly uses playing cards, which are easy to carry and throw with precision, but can also transfer this energy to other objects.

An agile fighter and particularly skilled with his cane, Gambit also stands out for his charming demeanour, his Cajun accent and his independent nature. Behind his nonchalant attitude, however, lies a loyal hero, ready to risk his life to protect the X-Men and his loved ones.
