Character background and lore
Illyana Rasputina, alias Magik, has a unique destiny blending mutant genes and ancient dark magic. The sister of the famous X-Man Colossus, she is capable of generating interdimensional teleportation discs, a mutant power she combines to perfection with her absolute mastery of sorcery acquired in the demonic dimension of Limbo, of which she has become the rightful ruler.This figurine is specifically inspired by a landmark event from the Secret Wars II storyline. In his obsessive quest to understand the nature and psychology of humanity, the omnipotent cosmic entity known as the Beyonder extracts the demonic essence from the mutant sorceress. This act forcibly unleashes the Child of Darkness (Darkchilde) that lay dormant deep within her, bringing to light the darkest and most destructive aspect of her mystical powers.
