Origin and world of the character
Skeletor is the main antagonist and iconic figure in the Mastersof the Universe fantasy and science fiction franchise, originally created by Mattel in 1981. Evolving on the planet Eternia, this blue-skinned tyrant with a face reduced to an emaciated yellow skull is a sorcerer of colossal power. Based in his lair on Snake Mountain, he is obsessed with the idea of seizing the age-old secrets of Castle Grayskull and bringing the entire planet under his rule. To achieve his dark goals and confront his sworn enemy Musclor, he manipulates occult forces and leads an army of fearsome evil warriors. This special "Live Action" version pays direct homage to the live-action film adaptations of the licence.
