Character’s origin and universe

A former Sith apprentice of Darth Sidious, Maul survives his defeat at the hands of Obi-Wan Kenobi and gradually rises to become one of the galaxy’s leading crime lords. In particular, he founded the Shadow Collective, an alliance bringing together several criminal organisations, and for a time managed to seize control of Mandalore.

The Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord series is set after the events of The Clone Wars. Maul seeks to rebuild his criminal empire on Janix, a planet relatively unscathed by the Empire but marked by the presence of numerous syndicates and underground groups.

This figure captures his appearance during this period, as he attempts to re-establish himself as a dominant figure in the criminal underworld. His cape, armour and two red lightsabres clearly reflect his status as a formidable warrior and leader of the Shadow Collective.
