Origin and world of the character
Jango Fett is a character from the Star Wars fictional universe, who made his first appearance in the cinema in the film Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002). Originally from the planet Concord Dawn, he is reputed to be one of the most effective bounty hunters and mercenaries in the galaxy. Secretly recruited by the Sith Lord Darth Tyranus (Count Dooku), Jango Fett serves as the original genetic template for the creation of the Galactic Republic's Clone Army, developed by scientists on the planet Kamino. In return for this manipulation, he asks for a non-genetically modified clone, whom he raises as his own son, Boba Fett. Equipped with shiny steel Mandalorian armour, a jetpack and two blaster pistols, he fought several Jedi during the early stages of the Clone Wars.
