Origin and world of the character
Ayrton Senna da Silva is a legendary Brazilian racing driver, born in 1960 and tragically killed in a race in 1994. Universally regarded as one of the greatest drivers in the history of Formula 1, he left a profound mark on the sport through his aggressive driving style, his exceptional virtuosity in the rain and his legendary rivalry with Alain Prost. During his career, he won three world championship titles (1988, 1990 and 1991), all in the colours of the famous British team McLaren-Honda. This figurine pays tribute to that golden period in his career. It captures the champion's historic visual identity through his iconic yellow helmet - with green and blue stripes in reference to the Brazilian flag - which remains one of the most respected and instantly recognisable symbols of world motorsport.
