Origin and world of the work

The visual design of this figurine was inspired by the video clip for the song Thriller, released in 1982 on Michael Jackson's eponymous album. Directed by John Landis and released in 1983, this short musical film marked the history of popular culture by integrating a cinematic narrative of the horrific genre into the video clip format. The figurine reproduces the aesthetic elements of this work, in particular the red and black jacket worn by the artist during the choreography sequence with the dancers dressed as zombies.
