Origin and character background
Created by Kōhei Horikoshi for the hit manga My Hero Academia, Yu Takeyama, better known by her stage name Mt. Lady, is one of the series’ most charismatic professional superheroes. Endowed with the Quirk of Gigantism, she possesses the spectacular ability to grow her body to a colossal height of over 20 metres. Although she is sometimes perceived as superficial and opportunistic in front of the cameras, Mt. Lady proves to be a fighter of exemplary courage when facing supervillains at critical moments.This figure is directly inspired by the special episodes of the HLB (Hero League Baseball) OVA, a wild competition where superhero agencies face off on a baseball field, freely using their powers. To match her Alter form, Funko presents the character in its 15.2 cm XXL format. Here, she swaps her usual purple and beige combat suit for the league’s official kit, sporting her cap, a striped sports jersey and a huge baseball glove fitted to her hand.
