Character background and lore

Izuku Midoriya is the protagonist of My Hero Academia. Born without a Quirk in a society where the majority of the population possesses a power, he nevertheless dreams of becoming a hero capable of saving others with a smile. His determination and courage catch the attention of All Might, the greatest hero of his time, who decides to pass on his Quirk, One For All, to him.

After being admitted to Yuei High School, Izuku must learn to master this immense power without destroying his own body.
