Minato Namikaze Kurama Link ‘Bond of Light’ Mode Articulated Figure — Naruto Shippuden — S.H.Figuarts 15 cm
Relive the decisive battles of the Fourth Great Ninja War with this S.H.Figuarts figure of Minato Namikaze in Kurama Link Mode. Bandai Spirits has recreated the Fourth Hokage in his form enveloped by Kurama’s chakra, with detailed sculpting and colours inspired by his appearance in the Naruto Shippuden anime.
Standing approximately 15 cm tall, the figure features the numerous articulation points characteristic of the S.H.Figuarts range. These allow you to recreate Minato’s lightning-fast movements, his kunai combat stances and his attacks using the Whirling Orb. His orange-yellow outfit features the black markings of Chakra Mode, whilst his long-tailed cloak accentuates the sense of movement in his dynamic poses.
The set includes seven interchangeable hands – four left hands and three right hands – as well as three alternative faces. These various parts allow you to display Minato with a range of expressions and to vary the way he holds his weapon or prepares his techniques.
Minato comes with his special kunai associated with the Flying Thunder God technique and an imposing Great Whirling Orb effect piece. A bonus part depicting an alternative face for Naruto is also included for the S.H.Figuarts Naruto Uzumaki ‘The Power to Unite’ figure, sold separately. By combining the two figures, it becomes possible to recreate several iconic scenes between father and son.

Character background and universe (Lore)
Minato Namikaze is the Fourth Hokage of the village of Konoha and the father of Naruto Uzumaki. Nicknamed ‘the Yellow Flash of Konoha’, he is renowned for his exceptional speed and his mastery of the Flying Thunder God, a teleportation technique based on markings affixed to, amongst other things, his special kunai.
During Kurama’s attack on Konoha, Minato sacrificed himself alongside Kushina to protect their newborn son. He sealed part of the Nine-Tailed Fox’s chakra within Naruto, in the hope that he might one day control this power and defend the village.
Reincarnated during the Fourth Great Ninja War, Minato joins the other Hokage on the battlefield. The half of Kurama sealed within him then allows him to enter Kurama Link Mode, a form that envelops his body in a powerful cloak of chakra. Minato is thus able to fight alongside Naruto, combining his speed with the power of the Nine-Tailed Fox.
This appearance is one of the most symbolic moments of the war: Minato discovers the accomplished ninja his son has become and directly helps him to confront the enemies threatening the shinobi world. The bonus faceplate included in the set serves precisely to extend this emotional dimension by displaying Minato alongside the corresponding Naruto figure.
