Koby is one of the very first characters introduced at the start of the monumental One Piece series, the legendary shōnen manga created by Eiichiro Oda in 1997. Originally a timid and oppressed cabin boy aboard the pirate Alvida’s ship, his fateful encounter with Monkey D. Luffy instils in him the courage to pursue his dearest dream: to join the Navy and become an admiral. Taken under the wing of the legendary Vice-Admiral Monkey D. Garp and subjected to rigorous training, he rose through the ranks through sheer willpower to become a colonel, then a captain, whilst joining the elite secret unit "SWORD". Devoid of a Devil Fruit, Koby shines through his exceptional mastery of Rokushiki (the Six Powers) and the awakening of an ultra-sensitive Observation Haki.
