Originally created by Eiichiro Oda, Tony-Tony Chopper is a blue-nosed reindeer who has ingested Hito Hito no Mi (Fruit of the Human), a Zoan-type demon fruit giving him the ability to metamorphose and reason like a human being. Rejected by his fellow creatures and initially hunted by men, he was taken in and trained in medicine by Doctors Hiluluk and Kureha on the island of Drum. He then joined the Straw Hat Pirates under the direction of Monkey D. Luffy, becoming the crew's official ship's doctor with the dream of devising a remedy capable of curing all the world's diseases. Netflix's TV series adaptation transposes this endearing character into a live-action ecosystem, rearranging his features and interactions for season 2 of the production.
