Origin and world of the character
Captain Jack Sparrow is the central protagonist of the fantasy adventure film saga Pirates of the Caribbean, produced by Walt Disney Pictures. This exclusive version is directly inspired by the first film, The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003). The plot reveals that Jack's former crew, led by Captain Hector Barbossa, stole a cursed Aztec treasure that condemns thieves to immortality and turns their bodies into rotting skeletons as soon as they are exposed to the moon's rays. During the final duel in the cave of Isla de Muerta, Jack Sparrow slyly steals a piece of the chest to become temporarily immortal in his turn in order to rival Barbossa. The figure accurately captures this iconic moment when the pirate's flesh gives way to his bone structure under the effect of the spell. - *
