Denji is the main protagonist of the manga and dark fantasy action series Chainsaw Man, created by mangaka Tatsuki Fujimoto. Set in a modern world where human fears come to life in the form of fearsome demons, Denji is a young man heavily in debt to the mafia. His life changes when he merges with his pet demon-dog, Pochita (the Chainsaw Demon), who replaces his mortally wounded heart. This event gives him the hybrid ability to transform his limbs and head into chainsaws. Recruited by Public Security as an official demon hunter, he battles international threats while pursuing simple, ordinary teenage dreams.
