Crafted on a 1/10 scale, this piece, measuring approximately 25.5 cm, depicts the mighty Gold Saint in an attacking stance, ready to unleash the formidable Excalibur technique.

Shura wears the Golden Armour of Capricorn, faithfully reproduced with its various metal plates, angular shoulder guards and horned helmet. The golden hues and contrasting finishes highlight the numerous reliefs on the Cloth, whilst the character’s dynamic pose conveys his precision and determination in battle.

The Knight extends his arm like a blade, in reference to Excalibur, the legendary technique concentrated within his limbs. The sculpture complements this movement with a billowing cape and an offensive stance that reinforce the impression of power exuded by the character.

The figurine rests on a decorative plinth inspired by the steps and stone structures of the Sanctuary of Athena. Two heads are included to allow for different displays of the character. Made primarily from polystone, this piece measures approximately 25.5 cm high by 21.16 cm wide and 20.9 cm deep.

Character background and lore

Shura of Capricorn is one of the twelve Gold Saints tasked with protecting Athena’s Sanctuary. As guardian of the tenth house of the Zodiac, he is renowned for his discipline, loyalty and exceptional mastery of close-quarters combat.

His most famous technique, Excalibur, allows him to transform his arms and legs into blades capable of cutting through almost any material. This attack, considered one of the most powerful physical techniques among the Gold Saints, requires great precision and exceptional speed of execution.

During the Battle of the Sanctuary, Shura faces off against Shiryu of the Dragon, who is seeking to traverse the twelve Houses in order to save Athena. Convinced that he is defending the goddess’s true will, Shura fights with determination until Shiryu uses a forbidden technique to carry them both into the upper atmosphere.

Finally realising his opponent’s sincerity, Shura saves Shiryu by passing on his Gold Armour to him. He also bequeaths to him the power of Excalibur, which remains etched into the Dragon Knight’s right arm. This final gesture reveals the honour of the Capricorn and his deep loyalty to Athena.
