In the Saint Seiya universe, Seiya is a young Japanese orphan sent to Greece, to the Sanctuary, to undergo extremely rigorous martial arts training in order to become a Knight of Athena. After developing his Cosmos and winning the prestigious Bronze Armour of Pegasus in a fierce battle against Cassios, he returns to Japan to find his missing sister, Seika. His initial armour, known as the “1st Bronze Cloth”, is the one he wears as he competes in the legendary Galactic Tournament and faces the fearsome Black Knights, followed by the Silver Knights. Known for his legendary tenacity, his unwavering loyalty to the reincarnation of the goddess Athena (Saori Kido) and his signature attack, “The Pegasus Meteor Fist”, Seiya constantly pushes his limits to triumph over evil.
