Origin and background of the character
Created in 1969 by Hanna-Barbera Studios, the Scooby-Doo animated franchise (Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!) follows the adventures of the Mystery Inc. team (Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and their talking dog Scooby-Doo) as they travel in their famous van, the Mystery Machine. Shaggy Rogers is the group’s official scaredy-cat, always hungry and ready to run at the slightest sign of a ghost or monster in exchange for a few of the famous Scooby Snacks. For this unique and playful version, Funko parodies his unconditional love of entertainment and snacks by dressing him in a pair of retro anaglyphic glasses (blue and red) historically used in cinemas to watch the first 3D films. An essential collector’s item to add a refreshing and comical touch of nostalgia to your home.
