In the world of the series, Satoru Mikami is a 37-year-old Japanese office worker who is stabbed in the street and reincarnated into a medieval fantasy world. His new physical form is that of a slime, a creature traditionally considered to be at the bottom of the monster hierarchy. Renamed Rimuru Tempest by the hurricane dragon Veldra, he compensates for the limitations of this form thanks to his two unique innate abilities: ‘Grand Sage’, an internal artificial intelligence, and ‘Predator’, which allows him to absorb the attributes of his targets.

This figurine captures Rimuru in his basic form as a blue gelatinous mass. It is in this initial form that he explores the Sealing Caverns, assimilates his first magical materials and allies himself with the Goblin tribe and then the Direwolves, laying the foundations for what will become the Jura Tempest Federation before later acquiring the ability to generate humanoid transformations.
