Origin and background of the model

Sousai Shojo Teien is an original Kotobukiya range centred on everyday female characters, designed as schoolgirls to be assembled, posed and customised. Unlike ranges more focused on mecha or combat, Sousai Shojo Teien emphasises scenes from everyday life, natural expressions, school uniforms and the gentle customisation of the characters.

Madoka Yuki is one of the main characters in the series. In this ‘Touou High School Winter Clothes’ version, she appears in her winter uniform, in a design that further highlights the character’s textile-like and ‘doll-like’ appearance. The Kiru Pla series thus expands on the original concept by combining the assembly of a model kit with the more realistic feel of a fabric outfit.
