Product origin and world
The elements in this set come from the American animated TV series SpongeBobSquarePants, created by biologist and animator Stephen Hillenburg in 1999 for the Nickelodeon channel. The story takes place at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, in the underwater city of Bikini Bottom. SpongeBob, the main character, works there as a cook and lives in this atypical dwelling in the shape of a giant pineapple with his pet, the snail Gary. The house is one of the recurring and central settings in the animated series.
