Created by manga artist Tatsuya Endo, Spy x Family is an internationally acclaimed action-comedy series. The story follows elite spy Twilight (Loid Forger), who, in order to carry out a national security mission, must set up a fake family. He adopts Anya, a young telepathic girl, and marries Yor, a formidable hitwoman, with each of them hiding their true identity from the others. 

In this world, the Penguin is Anya’s favourite giant soft toy, which Loid won for her during a memorable undercover mission at the aquarium. Anya is deeply attached to it and constantly includes it in her daily spy games. The stitches (or scars) are the result of a comical incident in which Bond, the family’s large dog who can predict the future, bit the soft toy out of jealousy. Devastated by the state of her toy, Anya regains her smile when Loid, using his secret agent skills, meticulously sews the soft toy back together piece by piece. These visible stitches bear witness to the kindness of her adoptive family, transforming a simple toy into a powerful symbol of the affection that binds the Forger family together.
